Infants
Tiny Treasures CDC offers a program for infants beginning at six weeks of age. We use The Creative Curriculum in our infant classroom. Our teachers are always interacting with our infants to encourage mental and physical development. Our teachers spend a lot of time holding and cuddling and talking to our infants. Our infants have access to a separate play area outside and go outdoors daily as weather permits.
Each infant has their own crib that is assigned to them. Tiny Treasures CDC provides all infant cereal and baby food in our infant class and this is prepared in a sanitized kitchen area.
One Year Old Room
Tiny Treasures CDC uses The Creative Curriculum in our One Year Old classroom. The children have access to learning centers along with music, creative arts and a separate outdoor play area each day.
Since these children are doing a transition from our infant room, we use mats instead of cribs. Children have small tables and chairs for meal times.
Two's Room
Tiny Treasures CDC uses The Creative Curriculum in our Two Year Old classroom. The classroom is divided into centers and learning areas. The children have access to the following learning centers daily: Books, Dramatic Play, Blocks, Art, Sand and Water, Manipulatives, Music and Movement and Outdoors.
The children are introduced to colors, shapes, letters and numbers through appropriate activities and games.
Three's and Four's Room
Tiny Treasures CDC uses The Creative Curriculum in our Three and Four Year Old classroom. The children have access to the following learning centers daily: Books, Dramatic Play, Blocks, Art, Sand and Water, Science, Math, Manipulatives, Music and Movement, Writing and Computers, and Outdoors.
